Uniform and Spirit Wear Information

As a part of our focus on safety and academic excellence, children attending Woodbury Leadership Academy are required to wear uniforms. WLA Student Spirit Wear (Grades K-8)

In an effort to build a sense of unity, pride and teamwork, Woodbury Leadership Academy has dedicated Spirit Wear Days. Approved spirit wear can be purchased from our uniform vendor, Minnesota Embroidery & Promotions. If students do not dress in spirit wear, school uniform is required.

Grades K-5: Please see school site calendar for dedicated Spirit Wear Days.

Grades 6-8: Spirit Wear is allowed every Friday.

Important Notes:

**All uniform items should be free of rips, tears, and/or stains**

When, in the judgment of the WLA staff, a student’s appearance, grooming, or mode of dress interferes with or disrupts the educational process or school activities, or poses a threat to the health or safety of the student or others, the student will be directed to make modifications and parents/guardians will be notified.

Hats, hoods, and bandanas are not allowed to be worn in the building except with the approval of the administration.

An organized student group may recommend a form of dress for students considered appropriate for a specific event and make such recommendation to the administration for approval.
