Happy 2018-19 School Year!

Thank You to everyone that contributed to the Teacher Meal and shopped the Scholastic Book Fair during conferences! It was our most successful Book Fair to date earning WLA over $2000! Way to go!

October 26th Trunk or Treat & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Sure to be SO much fun!
Councilman Christopher Burns will be cutting the ribbon at 6pm and trunk or treating will immediately follow. Woodbury Bulletin reporter Hannah Black will be in attendance to capture this milestone.
If you plan to hand out goodies please fill out the flyer that came home in your child’s folder last week. If you would like to donate treats and not hand them out, please drop them off in the office.

October 28th from 11-3pm, WLA will have a booth at the Oakdale Business Showcase at Oak Marsh Golf Course. Come say “hi” and send your friends and neighbors to learn more about our great school! Trick or treating at every booth, face painting, balloon artistry and food. Costumes encouraged for kids. :)

November 2nd is Picture Retake Day

November 15th is Give to the Max Day. Every dollar donated helps our school! More info to come.

December 6th we will be hosting our 2nd annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza. We will have lots of fun events for our families including cookie decorating and listening to stories by the fireplace read by your favorite teachers while providing the opportunity to holiday shop from small businesses and local vendors. If you or someone you know are interested in renting a booth at the extravaganza, please email me at volunteer@wlamn.org

Please know I am working diligently on getting WLA PTO up and running. There are a lot of steps that need to be completed to ensure we are a great partnership with WLA for years to come. As soon as the by laws are completed and we are ready to hold our first meeting, I will spread the word. Thank you for your continued patience! Please know your help is greatly appreciated with any events in the mean time. :)

Please email me with any questions or comments you may have at volunteer@wlamn.org.

Thank you for all of the ways you support WLA!
